Once there lived an old farmer. He had three sons who were very lazy and quarrel all time instead of working. The farmer advised the sons not to quarrel among them and keep united to lead a peaceful life. ………….

Once there lived an old farmer. He had three sons who were very lazy and quarrel all time instead of working. The farmer advised the sons not to quarrel among them and keep united to lead a peaceful life. Breaking unity would make them weak and fall in risk their own. But the sons did not pay any attention to their father’s advice. They kept themselves busy with quarrelling.

The days passed with the same happening. The old farmer became very much anxious about the future of his sons. He made a plan. One morning, he called for all of his sons. He actually wanted to teach them the importance of keeping united.

He ordered one of his sons to bring some sticks and a piece of rope. The sticks were brought and tied all together with the rope. The farmer ordered all his sons one by one to break the bundle. But eventually none of them could break the bundle inspite of tried their best.

The old farmer untied the bundle and gave one stick to each son. They could beak each stick very easily.

At last, the sons realized that they were wrong. They promised not to quarrel again and started a united and peaceful life.

 

Moral of the Story of the unity is strength:

Unity is the source of strength; divided we falter, together we flourish.

Moral of the Story: Unity is the strongest bond that not only brings strength but also leads to success. Like the bundle of sticks that remained unbreakable when united, individuals can overcome challenges and achieve greatness when they stand together in harmony.
